Nordic Academic Press (NAP) was initiated in 1997 as an imprint and we specialise in a few, clearly defined areas and aims:

• to provide a channel for Swedish and Nordic scholars who want to publish their works in the English language for an international market.
• to produce purposely designed books for an international circle of readers.
• to provide an international network of sales representation outside the Nordic countries.

Nordic Academic Press is represented internationally by Gazelle Book Services, which is a sales representative specialising in international academic and professional educational books. They are based in Lancaster, England and have a global network with emphasis on the British, European och American markets.

NAP-titles are stocked and distributed internationally by Gazelle Book Services and the books can be ordered through the Whitaker-database which is one of the most comprehensive and widely used bookshop-catalogues. In other words you can look up NAP-titles from any major book retailer anywhere in Europe and USA. Naturally you can find them in the internet-bookshops as well. NAP is also included in the web-database Bookfinder-online.com, where the title, an image of the cover and an information text is available.
